- Reformation in Poland
We believe in transforming power of the Gospel. Therefore our desire is to present Christ, in His full glory, to our countrymen. The more so, because great shadow of idolatry covers our land: secular humanism competes with the pope in fight for the souls and the future of Polish people. Protestants are few and weak. They often seek help in neo-orthodoxy and charismatic movements.

Almost 500 years ago, the Commonwealth of Poland and Lithuania embraced the light of the Reformation. At one point in history, half of the Members of Parliament were either Lutheran or Reformed. However, soon after, the light was quenched by the so-called Enlightenment and Modernism. At present, less than half percent of the population confess the faith of the Reformation, and even this group is infected by arminianism to a great extent.

We once were arminians, but when we became acquainted with Reformed Faith, there was no doubt left in our hearts that it represents true exposition of the Word of God. We believe that if Poland is to find salvation it needs to be in the Gospel of Christ, KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS.

Reformation in Poland is a ministry of the Evangelical Reformed Church in Poland, which now consists of two congregations and a mission station, and includes at present:

1. "Reformation in Poland" which is our quarterly journal - containing articles in theology and its application to all spheres of life.

2. Books and booklets: we publish books of such publishers as Cannon Press, Presbyterian and Reformed and Banner of Truth Trust ("Why I believe in God" by C. Van Til, "Reformed Faith" by L. Boettner, "Know the Truth" by J. Calvin, "Primeval Saints" by J. B. Jordan, "Federal Husband", "Reforming Marriage" by D. Wilson, "The Fruit of Her Hands", "Praise Her in the Gates" by N. Wilson, "Of Such is the Kingdom" T. Sizemore and "Why & What" by D. Jones).

3. Annual conferences in Reformed theology and "family camps"/conferences.

4. Assistance in planting Evangelical Reformed churches in Poland.

We would greatly value your prayers on our behalf.
